Where were you before you worked at Camwood?
Before joining Camwood, my previous role was as a Team Leader/IT Manager for a national organisation with offices across the UK and 500+ employees.
Why did you join the Camwood team?
I joined Camwood in 2014 intending to address existing challenges, promote change and provide support to Camwood’s IT Landscape. Understanding what Camwood’s business needs were and their company vision aligned with my previous experiences.
What excites you most about working at Camwood?
I was excited to join Camwood because I saw it as a new challenge and an opportunity to present new ideas and methods. Camwood is a medium-sized organisation working on the bleeding edge of technology. This allows me to work with the latest technology and to help promote Camwood as a market-leading technology service platform which is exciting and rewarding.
How do you think Camwood is different from other managed service providers?
Camwood is different because within this industry it is common with service providers that they concentrate on a focused set of services and lack the perception of new technology offerings/solutions. Camwood is constantly evolving and producing an innovative response to the managed service sector and the journey to becoming a CSP has opened many doors and opportunities.
What unique skill do you bring to the Camwood team?
I believe that the dynamic array of skills enables me to assist the wider team on problem solutions and the ability to rapidly respond resourcefully with precision. The Management and ownership of hardware/software/application estate, cloud platform architecture, design, and implementation of information systems reflect this.
